Indiana in Late Fall (One guy's view)

I went for a late fall walk at our local State Forest Park. Fall is definitely slipping away into winter as witnessed by lack of colorful foliage. What I did see was a beautiful array of God's creation. All along my pathway were His "gifts."

A long time

Has it really been two years since I have posted on her. Wonder Blogger hasn't just shut me down. Maybe with the upcoming Holiday Season, I can get some new pics on here. I shut down my craft blog to give myself more time to do crafts and blog, so maybe I should post some new photos on here just to keep in practice. I'll see what I can do!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Okay, I know it's totally tacky and tasteless, but I like it. Besides that, my son bought his mother and I this nativity scene for our yard many years ago. I haven't had it up for a few years, but decided that this was the year. I put it out front for passersby to enjoy as well as to antagonize my "non-believing" neighbors across the street. Who knows, maybe this will be the year of their awakening.

Fall Tree in my Yard

This is a Chinese Dogwood tree we planted years ago. I don't remember it being this color of red in the fall ever. Beautiful!

Roses

Roses from a friend...because I didn't feel good and because she cared.

Iced In

Today was to be the last day of school before Christmas break, but alas! We had an ice storm here in central Indiana. Schools were closed, stores were closed, our county transit system was at a stand-still. Things are melting off now, but it's still not fit for man nor beast out there. Break began a day early!

The Reason for the Season!

I added this piece to my vast collection of Nativities. I bought it as a piece of white ceramic, and did the finish. It is different than any other I have. It just adds a special touch of Christmas to my living room.
