The Round Barn of Forggy Road

" Legend has it that a farmer died here. He wore himself out looking for a corner to pee in."
This is one of very few round barns left in my "neck-of-the-woods."

I love this part of our county- it makes me homesick- but in a good way!

This reminds me of when I used to live in Indiana. While I love it here in MT, sometimes I still miss all of the bright colors, green grass, and the SMELL. You know the one I mean; in the spring when it's dewy in the morning and you step outside and the scent that touches your nose is that of natures freshly laundered clothes. We don't have that here, but this picture makes me remember it.

I *adore* this picture as my great-father was one of the round barn builders of the area along with his father and brothers. They always make me think of him when I see one which is far and few between these days.
